OVERVIEW
Across one working session and a short follow-up, you and your city team will turn evaluation findings into clear decisions and next steps. The intensive guides you through a simple path—from results, to what they mean, to a decision, to action—so that evidence you have already gathered shapes what you do next.
Once results are in, the hard part is knowing what to do with them. This intensive will help your team make sense of what an evaluation found, determine what the findings mean for your program in practice, and commit to a clear response rather than letting the findings sit unused.
In the working session, your team will:
- Interpret your evaluation results and understand what they can and cannot tell you.
- Determine what the findings mean for your program in practice.
- Reach a clear decision based on your results.
- Plan how to communicate the findings and your decisions to the people who need them.
The short follow-up will give your team time to test its thinking, resolve open questions, and finalize the decision and next steps after having time to reflect on the results.
You’ll leave with: A framework for interpreting and communicating evaluation findings, along with a clear decision and next steps based on your own results.
